Class Title Digital Fabrication
Description With digital fabrication rapidly moving towards ubiquity in both academia and practice, familiarity with the topic is increasingly valuable for young designers. This course is situated as a hands-on introduction to the digital tools found in the Taubman College FABLab, supplemented by readings and discussions regarding the associated theoretical discouse and praxial modes. No prior experience with the equipment is necessary, but proficiency with the Rhinoceros modeling software and a willingness to get dirty are required.
