Arquero, Bieri, Borum, and Maigret scheduled to appear at Broad Art Museum

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University is hosting a series of conversations focusing on college towns titled East Lansing 2030: Collegeville Re-Envisioned. The latest conversations will take place on December 11th and will feature a number faculty of Taubman College including: María Arquero de Alarcón, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Urban Planning and Partner at MAde Studio; David Bieri, Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning; Craig Borum, Professor of Architecture and principal at PLY Architecture; and Jen Maigret, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Partner at MAde Studio

The faculty will present their work and ideas, and engage in a discussion of themes as they relate to East Lansing as well as addressing relevant issues through their professional work. PLY Architecture and MAde Studio often collaborate, bringing together PLY’s interest in engaging industrial fabrication and other large-scale systems to produce unexpected and singular experiential results with MAde’s focus on developing environmentally and culturally sound design practices. David Bieri’s main research and teaching interests are at the intersection of urban planning and real estate economics, public finance and economic geography.
