Taubman College

Urban Design students work collaboratively with a diverse group of faculty. Their research, work, and outreach experience ranges from the design of public space in global cities to the rehabilitation of local historic buildings and from the history of suburbia to environmental justice. Urban Design draws from many disciplines and the faculty reflect its cross-disciplinary nature; faculty interests include architecture, real estate development, environmental planning, history, and design theory. Each winter term, a prominent designer visits the program to help teach the M.U.D. studio.
